I had mastectomy in 2023, after that my doctor didnt give any treatment Just tamoxifen. In 2025, my cancer was relapse and I did surgery and without any chemo or radiation after that. For all what happened I am thinking and thinking if my doctor now did treat me right or wrong why he didnt give me any additional treatment. So I was searching for second opinion and another onco said you must have chemo...My big worry now is chemo will really heal me, will chemo hurt me and make my cancer even getting worse? Please anyone share here any same experience like me...thank you

Treatment decisions after breast cancer recurrence can feel overwhelming, especially when different doctors have different recommendations. Getting a second opinion shows great advocacy for your health, and it's completely understandable to have concerns about chemotherapy's effectiveness and potential side effects. Each person's cancer journey is unique, and treatment plans depend on many factors that only your medical team can fully evaluate. Consider having an open conversation with both oncologists about the reasoning behind their recommendations, and don't hesitate to ask about the specific benefits and risks in your situation.
