2 years agoFor those who have had radiation already, is anyone else dealing with a severe dry cough and shortness of breath? My radiation was done end of May, and by end of June I had radiation pneumonitis. I did a round of steroids that helped a bit, but now with the weather changing it is getting bad again. Just looking for advice on how yo deal with this!

Radiation pneumonitis can be a challenging side effect that affects breathing and comfort for many people who have undergone radiation treatment. Weather changes and seasonal shifts often do impact respiratory symptoms, so connecting with healthcare providers about symptom management strategies can be really valuable. Many community members have found it helpful to share what approaches have worked for them in managing similar breathing-related effects from treatment.
