I had Her2+ breast cancer. I believe yhe tumor was caused by my seat belt from a bad accident. I was a passenger in my car when I was hit from behind. My car was totaled! My seat belt tightened so tight that my breast was injured and caused a lump and black and blue! Mamogram looked like cancer! Her2 +. What would be. The best chemo meds for this cancer?

Treatment decisions for Her2+ breast cancer are complex and depend on many individual factors that only an oncology team can properly evaluate. Each person's treatment plan needs to be tailored based on their specific diagnosis, staging, and overall health picture. This is definitely something to discuss thoroughly with your oncologist, who can review all the current treatment options and help determine what might work best for your particular situation.

Brenda, I also have HER2+ with right breast mastectomy. Starting taxol and herceptin in next 10 days. Whatever advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I have HER2+ and had lumpectomy, tried taxol but found I was allergic to it so only doing Herceptin/Hylecta. Had radiation therapy and am going to start Tamoxifen soon. My tumor was 1.2cm without spread to nodes so I was able to opt out of the Taxol and equivalent chemo drugs.

@Judy S cancer isn’t caused by an impact. It’s hormone driven and absolutely nothing that you did to cause it. I have no family history of breast cancer and I ate a fairly healthy diet. I’ve had bruises and lumps on my breasts from a car accident as well but that didn’t cause nor contribute to the cancer. By the time you find the cancer it’s already been growing in your body for 10 years. Now that you found it you can be treated for it. Are you triple positive or E/P-?
