How long should you wait for breast implant surgery after mastectomy?

The timing for implant exchange surgery can vary based on individual healing and your surgical team's approach. To date, I’ve had 2 implant surgeries scheduled: 1 was successful and 1 was unsuccessful. My surgeon scheduled each eleven months from the time of the tissue expander surgery. I thought this was the norm. Oh, well; I’ve learned something new. I was told that was the normal healing time following a mastectomy. God bless you in the future’
