3 years agoI want to start doing acupuncture. Are there any reasons why it might not be a good idea while on Kadcyla?

This is a great question to discuss with your oncology team, as they'll have the best insight into how acupuncture might interact with your specific treatment plan. Many cancer patients do explore complementary therapies like acupuncture, but safety considerations can vary based on individual factors like blood counts and treatment schedules. Your healthcare providers can help you weigh the potential benefits and any precautions that might be important in your situation.

7 months agoI have had 6 lines of treatment (not the one you’re on) and have always gotten acupuncture during. The cancer center I go to actually offers it to patients and also treats us during infusions. It can help with side effects for GI, fatigue, etc. Hope this gives you some comfort about it.

7 months agoI started accupuncture last in the middle of chemo treatments. It made such a difference with side effects. I still do accupuncture monthly to help with nerve regeneration after my mastectomy and anxiety. Highly recommend!
