Has radiation affected anyone else's memory?

Hey to all you warriors. I finished my 14 rounds of radiation a month ago. My memory has been awful! I can’t come up with the words, names of things. I feel like I had a stroke. Has anyone else had this issue since completing radiation? If so has your gotten better? If so how long did it take for you to notice it was getting better? Thank you

Memory and concentration changes after radiation treatment are experiences that many people in this community have shared. These cognitive effects, sometimes called "chemo brain" or "cancer-related cognitive impairment," can happen with various cancer treatments and often do improve over time, though the timeline varies for each person. Connecting with others who've been through similar experiences can provide valuable insights and support during recovery.
