Severe Itching with Breast Cancer Treatment: Any Relief?

My mom has metastatic breast cancer. She is on Faslodex and Ibrance. She is now having extreme itching on her upper torso, arms, and scalp. We have tried vevey kind of topical cream and lotion, and it only calms the itching for a few hours. Has anyone else been experiencing these symptoms, and if so, what gave you relief?

Itching can be such a challenging side effect during treatment, and it sounds incredibly frustrating when topical solutions only provide temporary relief. Many community members have shared similar experiences with treatment-related itching, and some have found that discussing this symptom with their medical team can lead to additional options beyond topical treatments. Hopefully others who have navigated this will share what approaches worked best for them.
