2 years agoWhat can I do to treat migraines from chemo?? They have become brutal, lasting 4-5 days a week.
Accepted Answer
Chemo-induced migraines can be incredibly challenging to manage, especially when they're happening so frequently. Many treatment options exist, from prescription medications specifically for migraines to complementary approaches like hydration management, sleep hygiene, and stress reduction techniques. Speaking with the oncology team about this significant side effect is important, as they may be able to adjust treatment protocols or prescribe effective migraine prevention or relief medications that work safely alongside chemotherapy.

6 months agoI've used Ubrelvy (which I had for migraines prior) along with my phenergan. Thankfully tho, my migraines have been SO much better the last few weeks. I just finished 12 rounds of paclitaxel and carboplatin last week.
