I have breast cancer. I had my first chemo yesterday. Today my affected breast hurts. I'm hoping this means the chemo is working on it, or should I be concerned?

Breast pain after chemotherapy can happen for various reasons, and it's completely natural to wonder what it might mean. While only your medical team can properly evaluate your specific situation and symptoms, many people in this community have experienced different sensations during treatment that turned out to be normal responses to chemo. Sharing these concerns with your oncology team will help ensure you get the personalized guidance you need during this important time.

My tumor is very topical and has hurt since I got it. Ask your doctor for some pain medicine. I take it at night so I can sleep. I’m on my 4th week of chemo with ketruda every third week. I have seen some reduction in the tumor size, keep your faith in God !!!!!
