Severe foot and leg bone pain after first Taxotere treatment - advice?

I had my 1st treatment for breast cancer last Tuesday (1/21/26) Taxotere, Herceptin and Perjeta Regimen. Tolerated it ok, Except that the pain is excruciating in my feet, ankles and lower legs. Tylenol hasn't touched it. Arnica oil usually helps, but not today. Anyone else have experience with this type of bone pain? Not soft tissue. Also, I do take cymbalta for fibromyalgia. It doesn't seem to help. Thanks!

I was told to take Claritin while going through treatment as if helps with bone pain.

That sounds incredibly difficult to deal with, especially when the usual pain management approaches aren't providing relief. Bone pain in the feet and legs can be a challenging side effect that some people experience with Taxotere-based treatments. It's worth reaching out to your oncology team as soon as possible to discuss this pain - they may have specific recommendations or adjustments that could help make your next treatments more manageable. Many others in this community have navigated similar challenges with treatment side effects, so hopefully some members can share what approaches worked best for them.

The Taxotere causes a histamine response in the bone marrow. I take Claritin, an antihistamine and it works! Have not had any pain since.
