Hello everyone! Do you have any recommendations such as diet or supplements for improving neuropathy after chemotherapy? My mother did 4 rounds DC and 12rounds of taxol and her treatment finished on march but still suffering from weakness and painful finger tips and toes . Supplements are allowed such as multivitamin tablets?

Chemotherapy-induced neuropathy is a common challenge that many people face after treatment, and it's encouraging that you're exploring safe ways to support recovery. While supplements like multivitamins are generally considered safe, it's always best to discuss any new supplements or dietary changes with the oncologist or healthcare team first, as they know the complete medical history and can provide personalized guidance about what might be most helpful during this recovery period.

I am in the same boat with taxol. Scheduled to do 12 rounds and now after 4 my finger and palms are covered in burn blisters so they have stopped the Chemo to give body a rest and possible lower Taxol dosage. If that does not work they will have to stop chemo. Has anyone experienced this side effect with hands getting blisters with tremendous burning sensation?

Supplements for Neuropathy? Yes there are some for nerve regeneration Essential oils Acupuncture You may have to wait on those yet. Dosage adjustment seems reasonable.
