My oncologist is recommending Zometa as I have mBC. It is from a diagnosis of ILC now with bone mets, no lymph node involvement. Nervous about it. Would like to hear experiences others have had on it. Thank you

It's completely understandable to feel nervous about starting a new treatment, especially when dealing with bone metastases. Many community members have shared their experiences with bone-strengthening medications like this one, and connecting with others who have been through similar situations can provide valuable insights and support during this time.

Zometa is also known as Reclast in a different dosage. It takes about 20 minutes for the infusion. Hydrate the day before and the day of your infusion. I was nervous, but had no noticeable side effects. Hydrate, maybe that made all the difference for me. It’s given once every three months.
