Many people in this community explore complementary approaches alongside their medical care, and it's great that you're thinking proactively about your health. While research on nutrition and lifestyle factors shows promise for overall wellness during and after cancer treatment, it's important to discuss any holistic approaches with your oncology team to ensure they complement your medical plan safely. Others here may share their experiences with dietary changes, stress management, or other supportive practices that have helped them feel more empowered in their journey.

7 months agoLifestyle changes such as regular exercise, lots of fruits and vegetables, NO alcohol. I am taking DIM (I said no to AIs) and sulfurafane. Thinking of ivermectin and febendazol, I was Stage 1, grade 2, HR+, no lymph node involvement. I am starting proton therapy on Thursday nearly 120 days (the maximum you should go from the lumpectomy). That said, the radiation doctor asked that I discontinue these supplements while undergoing radiation therapy.
