10 months agoOk….i had 2 lumpectomy surgeries and only have to have radiation. I have to have a total of 20 treatments the last 4 being boosters!! I am on treatment 17 and I’m sooooooook emotional!!! Why??? Is anyone experiencing this??? It’s emotions all over the board for no specific reason. I feel like I could cry at the drop of a hat….just because???? Is anyone else experiencing this too??

What you're experiencing is completely normal and shared by many people going through radiation treatment. The emotional ups and downs during this phase of treatment are incredibly common, and you're so close to finishing your course. Many patients find that the cumulative effects of treatment, combined with the stress and anticipation of completing this chapter, can create intense emotional responses that feel overwhelming but are a natural part of the healing process.

6 months agoI think we all do because of the unknown effects plus the daily treatments. You're just ready to be done. I was for sure.

6 months agoEverything to do with cancer can be scary. It's ok to cry. When you feel like crying, let it out and then do something kind for yourself or someone who is supporting you.
