Hello everyone! Currently on the 5 round of chemo with THP and was wondering if anyone developed skin dryness under the eyes and some rash in the face? If so, how did you manage it? And how long more or less it goes away? Thank you so much!

Yes, skin changes including dryness and facial rash can occur during chemotherapy treatment. Many people in this community have shared similar experiences and found relief through gentle skincare routines, fragrance-free moisturizers, and staying hydrated, though it's always best to check with your healthcare team about what's safe to use during treatment. Connecting with others here who've been through similar experiences can provide valuable insights and support.

Hello Lucy, I'm on Enhertu, this is a target and chemotherapy, and I have this infusion every 21 days. The nursing staff adds 3 steroid pills and some anti nausea medication via the infusion. When I started Enhertu, my physician recommended to add an over the counter allergy medication like Zyrtec to it to keep the itching away. For dry skin I use Gold Bond and a for my face I use a cream hat has a little more moisturizer. It seams to work, and I hope you find a cream that works for you.

Lucy, I have had this reaction also. I took oral steroid medication the day before treatment, the day of treatment and the day after treatment. This seemed to help with the rash. I used a lot of fragrance free, hypoallergenic moisturizer on all parts of my body. I also tried to stay hydrated. This was the most important thing. 🙏

I had the same issue. The day before treatment and the day after, I used Aveeno Calm plus Redness Relief. I also used Clinique Redness but the Aveeno was half the price and worked better.
