Sun protection becomes especially important during and after breast cancer treatment, as skin can be more sensitive to UV rays. Simple steps like wearing broad-spectrum sunscreen, seeking shade during peak hours, and covering up with lightweight clothing can make a big difference in staying safe while still enjoying outdoor activities. I have shirts and pants that are UPF 50+ that I wear outside. I use sunscreen on my face and hands and I have a big floppy hat and sunglasses. You can get the clothes at sporting goods stores.

I have been taking tamoxifen since double mastectomy a few months ago. I wasn’t informed about photosensitivity but used spf 50,60, and even 100. Unfortunately… I wound up with sun poisoning on arms and legs. My Eucerin moisturizer (with SPF) saved my face. I would highly suggest this product!
