2 years agoI didn't have much trouble with side effects the first year but the last couple weeks have been really bad. I am not sure what has changed but I have lots of digestive issues and my concentration is gone. I can't finish a task without losing track of what I am doing. I have been referred to a nutritionist/dietician so hopefully that helps. I can't imagine feeling this way for the duration of my treatment nor can I imagine living on a BRAT diet for the rest of my life.

Treatment side effects can definitely change and intensify over time, which sounds incredibly frustrating when you've been managing well until now. Working with a nutritionist is a great step, and many patients find that dietary adjustments can help manage digestive issues during treatment - there are often more options beyond restrictive diets that can provide relief and better nutrition.
