Worsening Side Effects During Cancer Treatment

2 years agoI didn't have much trouble with side effects the first year but the last couple weeks have been really bad. I am not sure what has changed but I have lots of digestive issues and my concentration is gone. I can't finish a task without losing track of what I am doing. I have been referred to a nutritionist/dietician so hopefully that helps. I can't imagine feeling this way for the duration of my treatment nor can I imagine living on a BRAT diet for the rest of my life.

Working with a nutritionist is a great step, and many patients find that dietary adjustments can help manage digestive issues during treatment - there are often more options beyond restrictive diets that can provide relief and better nutrition.
