Dealing with nausea during breast cancer treatment can be really challenging, and there are several approaches that many people find helpful, including anti-nausea medications, eating small frequent meals, ginger products, staying hydrated, and acupressure techniques. It's definitely worth discussing specific anti-nausea options with your care team since they can often adjust medications or timing to help minimize this difficult side effect.

If it is mild, peach tea or peppermint help. If it is constant or feels more intense, contact your doc. I had to have a prescription...it was an immense help.

Everyone is different. My body HATES Rx so instead of adding more Rx or OTC to my routine, I fast until my nausea subsides, usually in 6-8 hours. I’ve tracked my food intake and stress triggers. I found that heavy American or American-ized foods, large portions, mostly meat meals or mostly starches make me nauseous. I CAN eat fresh veggies, hot veggies, fresh fruit, cream of wheat, oatmeal… no seasonings for me when I’m nauseous; it makes me vomit…. Basically I eat like a pauper if I’m nauseous. I’m tired of vomiting or the other end

IB guard is simply peppermint oil capsules or enteric coated meds. Ginger and ginger ale and some cola products are helpful too. Dry cereal and crackers help appetite. I had prescriptions for Zofran 8mg and Compazine that helped but I use meds limited.
