7 months agoHow long does it take for side effects to present when starting Anaprozole?
Accepted Answer
Starting a new medication can bring up many questions about timing and what to expect. Side effects from anastrozole can vary significantly from person to person - some people might notice changes within the first few weeks, while others may not experience any effects for months or may have minimal side effects overall. It's always best to discuss your specific concerns and timeline with your healthcare team, as they can provide guidance based on your individual situation and help you know what to monitor for.

7 months agoHi, Eileen, I think it varies from person to person. I noticed hot flashes within a few days, but the joint pain started at least 2 weeks later.

7 months agoIt varies greatly. 1 day to 2 months. Then some have improvement in side effects and some have to switch meds. Survivorship is a full time job. Trying to navigate everything...try to eat well, get the vitamins or supplements in. Exercise, sleep and don't be afraid to take something for pain and inflammation. Something common things for joint pain if you can try....ibuprofen,topical creams, magnesium salt bath, acupuncture, cbd gummies. Prescription stuff that might help...celebrex, duloxetine, some others. There is nothing wrong with taking something to get you through this.
