a year agoJust got my SMX done. Gonna talk to the Plastic Surgeon Monday(having some unusual pain) then off to the Oncologist and then the Radiation Oncologist. It feels like no one knows exactly what to do next. I feel a lump in my other breast but they want to wait until December to check it out. Im HR/PR + HER2-. I just want to get things moving and not wait to find out the treatment. Im getting REALLY frustrated. Its just a hurry up and wait game….

The uncertainty and waiting periods during cancer treatment can feel overwhelming, especially when there are new concerns to address. Many patients in this community share similar feelings about the coordination between different specialists and the pace of decision-making. Have others found helpful ways to manage the stress of waiting between appointments, or strategies for staying organized while working with multiple doctors?

6 months agoI felt a lump in my opposite breast while undergoing treatment for ILC. They gave me an ultrasound and confirmed it was a large cyst. Maybe you can ask for an ultrasound also???
