What should we do about blood in stool during colon cancer chemo?

Hi , My wife has SRCC in left colon that was invading the peritoneum with 5/21 lymph nodes, with no metastasis,, We successfully did the surgery, with R0 clear margins two months ago , then one month ago she started the Capox plan ( Oxaliplatin and capecitabine ) but yesterday she had few fresh blood in stool , there's no change in bowel habits, or abdominal pain ,, What shall we do .. is it possible for the tumor to reappear within this short period.. I am so depressed and don't want to lose my wife .. can someone help me with advice

Hi Ali, im so sorry you and your wife are going through this but she is so lucky to have your support. It is easy to assume every concerning new symptom is cancer after a cancer diagnosis but sometimes it is something much less serious. Do you have an update?
