How do I cope when doctor says I have 6 months to live?

Hi Kevin I’m in treatment also. Diagnosed with stage 4 a year and a half ago. My doctor has never given me a timeline. There are a lot of treatments and trials and surgeries you can do. I’m sending you positive thoughts.

Mine hasn't given me a timeline either which I think is better. We all react to the treatments differently, our bodies change and my personal feeling is by giving a specific timeline, it can have a very negative outcome, but that's just my feelings on the topic. Best of luck, try to stay strong and think positive.

You can get a second opinion. Sounds like you need a more encouraging doctor, just saying.
