How to manage appetite loss and dizziness during cancer treatment?

Appetite comes and goes. Today I had a big sandwich because I hadn't eaten much in two days and have been dizzy for three days. On Lonsurf and have low red, white counts and low ANC. Wife asks if there is something I can take for it. Im like "there's something I could not take" but that would shorten the trip. Anyway, just venting. Keep up the fight.

Managing appetite and dizziness during treatment can be incredibly challenging, especially when dealing with low blood counts from medications like Lonsurf. Many patients find that eating small, frequent meals and staying hydrated can help with both symptoms, though it's definitely worth discussing these side effects with the medical team to see if there are safe options to help. The community here understands how exhausting these treatment effects can be, and sharing experiences like this helps others know they're not alone in facing similar struggles.

I need to try that. The chocolate and vanilla boost makes me nauseous.

I have 16 Oz of water at 5am - eat at 6. 9, 12 and water from 2 -3:30. Then I eat again at 6. I don't eat any bread, crackers, cereals, or grains - no rice or pasta and I get a ton of protien eggs chicken fish turkey. Berries - tons of berries.

I love berries. But because I have a stint in my pancreas Im on a low fiber low residue diet. It prohibits seeds so I cant have berries or anything with a skin. I love eggs, chicken fish, and turkey. I will try eating more of those.
