How do you cope when waiting for treatment to start feels endless?

17 days agoJust checking in to see how everyone doing? Still waiting on my liver counts to come down so I can start my Opdualag. I had a port out in in February and still haven’t been able to use it yet and this Prednisone is a nightmare. Haven’t had a good nights sleep since been on it. They dropped me from 80 to 60 this week and my levels are down but they still want to wait one more week and see if they come down more. Plus, going on 3 weeks since brain MRI and no results, frustrating as hell! Anyway, hope you all are hanging in there and doing well, just needed to vent.

15 days agoWilliam, can’t you go on the portal and see your results? Even if you don’t understand the report, look at the impression and you will get it.

14 days agoHi Jill, yes I can go on and see the results once they post them. Still waiting, I reached out to my doc yesterday to see what the hold up is so hopefully will get them soon. Thank you for taking the time to respond, I hope you are doing well with your treatments and are feeling good. Thanks again

14 days agoAppt w/my Oncologist on the 4/24 w/my results of my 3rd PET scan last month, stopped chemo like 7 mos ago I have Invasive Agressive Melanoma I was diagnosed 10/2024 and surgery to remove the tumor 12/2024,
