How long is the hospital stay after laparoscopic cancer surgery?

Hi Kathy yea I stayed 2 nites. I had to have a drain from my colon, so he wanted to watch that pretty close. But they took it out on Friday morning and said I could go home. So thankful for my own bed. Feeling pretty sore today Saturday, its the getting up and down. But I know your gonna do just fine with your surgery get you a small pillow to hold on your tummy it helps. Im gonna keep u in my prayers let us know how your doing.

Also kathy,not sure what pain meds you will have.i have hydrocodene 10-325 i take them every 4 hours and I can add motrin every 6 hours I bought motrin tylenol dual. And they really help with the stomach soreness . Get you some I know you are gonna do just fine.i will be 🙏 for you.

Kathy feeling lots better today.still pretty sore when I try to get up and down .but meds help for sure. I try to walk from my chair to the other rooms just to keep moving.But I really feel like I can breathe deeper and everything just feels so much fresher.if that makes sense. Maybe its just knowing he got all that nasty C stuff.
