4 months agoI’ve had one infusion of Keytruda and it has all but crippled me. Joint pain, gout and general misery. Will this last? I don’t think I can take much more. Taking NSAIDS, pain killers, using ice, etc Will it stop?

4 months agoSide effects from immunotherapy treatments can vary greatly from person to person, and many patients find that symptoms do improve over time as their body adjusts to the medication. It's encouraging that you're already working with pain management strategies, and this would be an important conversation to have with your oncology team about symptom management options and whether adjustments to your treatment plan might help.

a month agoHi there, I’m on combo of Taxol, Ketruda, and Avastin. First couple of treatments was ok just a little tired and stomach pain . This is my 4th treatment and I’m exhausted, I can’t get out of bed cause my body is so weak , also terrible lower back pain . Hopefully you get stronger and will start to feel better soon 🙏🏻

19 days agoI’m starting 5 the round of avastan, KEYTRUDA and low dose oral cytoxin. I’ve had very few side effects. Only neck pain. Get occasional sore throat, and dry mouth. Have had some severe right ear pain and jaw pain. Wearing ear plugs when I shower or swim.

18 days agoI’ve completed 6 rounds of Keytruda and Avastin with daily Cytoxan and today get a PET scan. Hope and pray I’m done with Keytruda. See rheumatologist this month concerning the inflammatory arthritis that has taken over my hands from the Keytruda. But as I’ve said repeatedly on this three year battle having witnessed and talked with others - it could be worse.
