Has anyone tried carboplatin, doxorubicin and Avastin chemo combo?

Hi Kathi I did carbo over 8 yrs with three different combos: taxol, gemzar and lastly Doxil. Unfortunately the carbo dox combo did not work however I had become no longer platinum sensitive. My main side effects were low energy for about a week, acid reflex (never nausea), low white blood cells, thinning hair. Wishing you all the best 🩵

Toni, 8 yrs? Do you go into remission? I had my first treatment April2..so far so good!! Just fatigue 😩 the Rn scared me with all the side effects.

I'm getting ready to start carbo with doxil My Drs wouldn't do that with avastin because of concern about the side effects with the heart

Two years ago I had 6 cycles of Carbo and 2 of Doxil. Carbo side effects were bearable ( fatigue , brain fog, and weight gain) but I had to stop Doxil bc of the rash on hands and feet. Those are tough, so be sure to use ample cream on the soles of your hands and feet. Wishing you the best.
