New here. Total prostatectomy 3 years ago. PSA became detectable again a couple of months ago. Now on ERBT + Orgovyx. Week 3 of the meds and today is day 3 of ERBT of a planned 8 week treatment.

Hello Todd. Hopefully not too rough for you. I went through my radiation treatment right after radical prostatectomy, had very few side effects.

@kevinhill Thanks. My treatments have been pretty tolerable so far. My biggest complaints are hot flashes - those are manageable but annoying at night - and reduced ability to run and bike.

I have the same symptoms from Orgovyx, hot flashes and fatigue are par for the course. Throw in the brain fog and you will have the complete package of side effects. The hot flashes have diminished quite a bit but the fatigue remains, and a bit breathless sometimes doing even minor things like gardening. Otherwise, all is good with PSA now <.01, NED ( No Evidence of Disease) for 6 months. I’ll take it! Stay strong brother, we’ve got this! 🤛 💙 Blue is the Prostate awareness color, and if you missed it, ( as did I) September was Prostate Cancer Awareness month…..sheesh, we need a better lobby!

Kevin... I'm done with 38 of 39 treatments. If it goes ok, I'll be done Monday. As Tom Petty said...the waiting is the hardest part...no PSA check until February. Hot flashes have subsided. I am breathless running and biking but still doing those.

The last day of radiation treatment is definitely a milestone in this long walk. Did you get to ring the bell?! 🔔 Hopefully your PSA drops down to <.01 and stays there for a very very long time.
