Radiation treatment can bring up many questions and concerns, especially when starting this phase of your cancer journey. Many community members have shared that side effects often build gradually over the weeks, with fatigue and skin changes being common experiences that your medical team will monitor closely. Fellow patients in this community have valuable insights about managing daily routines during treatment - their experiences and practical tips could be really helpful as you begin this next step.

16 days agoScott, I recently completed my 28x5 radiation Aug 2025 and have been on hormone therapy (Eligard) for 1 yr of a 2 yr program. My suggestion to you, if you can, is to plow through the tiredness and exercise as much as possible. You will feel completely exhausted when going through radiation treatment. I benefited emensley through exercise. Mind you, it took a lot of effort to get off the couch and exercise. But man, it worked! Stay strong, Scott, and keep positive thoughts. 🙏
