Starting a new treatment can bring up many feelings, and it's completely natural to want to know what to expect. Many community members have shared their experiences with immunotherapy treatments like this one, and connecting with others who understand this journey can provide valuable insights and support during this time.

Be mindful that Keytruda can commonly cause Hypothyroidism!! Your Ong will pull labs for TSH & free T4. My husband is in Keytruda & Lenvima and it attacked thyroid 6 weeks after starting treatment. He is now permanently on thyroid medication and Docs are having a bit of trouble getting dosage adjusted. So be very mindful of this. Otherwise - he has tolerated Keytruda very well. The daily pills of Lenvatinib/Lenvima have been way more problematic. May your healing journey go well for you

I was on Keytruda for 2 years before I developed Colitis and had to stop. I think it helped a lot. Had some tumor shrinkage. Also on Lenvima orally. I also developed hypothyroidism and take levothyroxine.
