I’m 42. Just diagnosed a few days ago after finding lump in right breast. IDC HER2+ and estrogen & Progesterone positive. I have no idea what most of my biopsy report means and am waiting to see oncology. The waiting for treatment plan is the worst! Not able to sleep well. It’s a roller coaster, one i know we all want off of. I wish everyone the best and I’m sure I’ll have questions later on. 💕

The uncertainty and waiting period before meeting with oncology can feel overwhelming, especially when processing so much new medical information. Many in this community have shared that the initial days after diagnosis often bring a mix of emotions and sleepless nights - these feelings are completely natural as you navigate this unexpected journey. This supportive community is here whenever questions arise, and connecting with others who understand this experience can provide valuable comfort and insights during the weeks ahead.

I could have written that. I think I’m just a couple weeks ahead of you in this process. Got some answers from the surgeon today and feel better. Based on my whole 3 weeks experience, this is just how it works (could be a lllllot better.) Your feelings are justified, but I don’t think you need to worry that it’s all falling apart. Cancer treatment has a different timeline than than the fierce, get-it-done women that we are. You have to stay on top of it, but as far as I can tell at the beginning this is normal. 🤞🍀

I was also just diagnosed Her2+ estrogen positive Stage 1 . I saw my oncologist today besides the double mastectomy she said no chemo , just 5 years on a pill to lower my estrogen. Sorry if I sound uneducated I’ve had so much thrown at me that I don’t understand.

Hi. I was diagnosed on 7/5. I was unsure what all results meant. I saw a recommendation on another site for "Breast Cancer School for Patients" it can be found on u tube and there are numerous videos to watch which my husband and I found very helpful. Videos were easier for me to follow than reading a lot of terms I didn't understand. It was a good education for us prior to meeting with surgeon.

Hi, I just got diagnosed on Friday. I have IPLC, er & pr positive. HER2. It has not gone into the nodes. It has moved to the surrounding breath tissue. I have an MRI on Thursday next week to see for sure it hasn't gone anywhere else. I am in shock 😲 I am praying and send love and hugs to all of you. Would be nice if we could keep in touch with a group of people. We need as much support as we can get! ❤️🙏🌹
