Receiving a Stage 1 breast cancer diagnosis while managing multiple health conditions can feel incredibly overwhelming, and those feelings of shock are completely understandable. Many people in this community have navigated similar challenges with multiple health issues, and connecting with your breast surgeon on the 23rd will help provide clarity on next steps and treatment options. This community is here to offer support and share experiences as you work through this difficult time.

Hello Sherry, same diagnosis here, given 3 weeks ago. I will have bilateral mastectomy with immediate reconstruction, if possible.

I have ductal caricinoma insitu. Diagnosed the end of may, but have taken time to decide on treatment. Having a double mastectomy in two days. Pretty terrifying. I don’t trust my body that it won’t come back. This helps with that. Kinda feels like a bad dream.

We're in this together ❤️ it's very scary. But try and take one day at a time. It's hard to do I know.
