I have a small lump caught early. Cancer is infiltrating ductal carcinoma. I have had biopsies done of several cluster areas and those came back negative. Will be having lumpectomy and three lymph nodes removed on November 3rd. The three weeks of radiation and 5 years on a pill I don’t even know the name Of yet.

It's completely understandable to feel overwhelmed when facing so many unknowns about your treatment plan ahead. Having early detection and negative results from those cluster biopsies are positive signs as you move forward with your lumpectomy and the treatment steps that follow. Many others in this community have walked similar paths and found it helpful to write down questions for their medical team about the upcoming procedures and medications - this can help you feel more prepared and informed about what to expect.
