a year agoI’m new to this, no one in my family has ever had breast cancer before! I get my port on Monday 23rd! I go on the 24th to have an echo and a CT scan done, then I start chemo on the 26th! They said it will take 4 to 5 hours for the treatment! Will I be able to drive after this?? They haven’t really said anything!

It's completely natural to have questions about driving after your first treatment - this is something many people wonder about but don't always think to ask their care team ahead of time. Since chemotherapy affects everyone differently and driving safety depends on how you're feeling, it would be best to ask your medical team about their specific recommendations for your treatment plan. Many treatment centers can also provide guidance on arranging transportation options if needed, so don't hesitate to bring this up during your pre-treatment appointments.

6 months agoHello..I wouldn't recommend you drive because you don't know how you're body will react to chemo the first time..plus you might be given benadryl
