5 months agoThis is my second time now . Last Thursday I got results from Biopsy. My husband died 4 years ago. And had to tell my kids. This sucks. I’m 61 now Candace Wene

Facing cancer for a second time brings unique challenges, and having to navigate this journey without your partner's support while sharing difficult news with your children takes tremendous strength. This community understands the weight of receiving those biopsy results and the complex emotions that come with a second diagnosis. Many here have walked similar paths and found comfort in connecting with others who truly understand what this experience feels like.

5 months agoI'm so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. This is my second time around as well after almost 4 years in remission. It totally sucks.

5 months agoI am so sorry about your diagnosis! I am a newbie here. Just diagnosed with breast cancer and having a lumpectomy on 7/31! I will be praying for both of you.

5 months agoThanks Mary! Good luck on July 31st. I pray all goes well. Are you getting any other treatment? If so, do research on what to do to help if you get chemo. I must say, I learned the hard way. I will be happy to assist with a few things. Not that I'm an expert, but you do learn a thing or two. Best to both! Hang in there, ladies. You got this 💕

5 months agoSo far the surgeon has said "a little bit of radiation" and a hormone blocking pill for five years! I thank the good Lord, there's no chemo involved. We caught it early!

5 months agoI was diagnosed at the end of May in 2024 and just finished all of my treatments. Now just one drugs and trying to get back to normal. I will say you've come to the right place. I learned so much by just reading the threads that are posted on here. It's a great support team. We're all in this together.

5 months agoI agree too! I love reading the stories on here because there were times I kinda felt take scared. I had lumpectomy in Jan. Only had to have 5 radiation treatments, now on Anastrozole for 5 years. I think I'm doing ok on it. I know it's common side effect is achy joints and bones but I kinda had that anyway! I'm 64. I've read some people just couldn't tolerate the pain so they switched meds. I'm wondering, you ladies out there who had the severe aches and switched.... how soon did you start feeling these pains and how bad were they really?

5 months agoI’m with you Donna, I started anastrozole 6 weeks ago. I also have arthritis all over so I don’t know what the aches and pains are coming from but so far nothing I can’t tolerate
