4 months agoWhat post op supplies did you have at home to feel comfortable?
Accepted Answer
Having the right supplies ready at home can make recovery much more comfortable and less stressful. Common items that many find helpful include loose-fitting button-up shirts, extra pillows for positioning, ice packs, and comfortable supportive bras or camisoles - though it's worth checking with your surgical team about their specific recommendations for your situation.

4 months agoTylenol, Motrin and multiple ice packs because when one gets melted you want another frozen hard ready to be applied. Ready to eat food (nothing spicy, rich, or fatty) you can grab from freezer or fridge and at the worst microwave also helps. I personally also had a sore throat from the general anesthesia intubation so a couple of all fruit ice pops helped sooth it.
