Cold caps are a scalp cooling method that many patients explore to help reduce hair loss during certain chemotherapy treatments. The experience can vary quite a bit from person to person, depending on factors like the specific chemo drugs and individual response. Connecting with others who have tried cold caps could provide valuable insights about what to expect and practical tips for the process.

Yes I’m trying the PAXMAN cold cap . Tomorrow will be my 2nd time 2/12 . It’s freezing and expensive and I’m still navigating if my insurance will help pay for any of it. PAXMAN doesn’t assist you with the billing or reimbursement- you have to go down your insurance rabbit hole to find out . I’m hoping to try and save 50% of my hair. I found a PAXMAN Facebook group very helpful!! Good luck
