2 years agoHi everyone. I was just diagnosed with infiltrating ductal carcinoma grade 2 and focal lymphovasuclar invasion. I am wondering if anyone can recommend a cancer planner? I'm a paper person and would like to have all of my paperwork and notes in one place.

Having a dedicated planner to organize all your cancer-related documents and appointments can be incredibly helpful during treatment. Many community members have found success with cancer-specific planners that include sections for medical appointments, test results, medication schedules, and questions for doctors - you might find recommendations by searching online for "cancer journey planner" or "chemotherapy organizer" that other patients have reviewed positively.

8 months agoCheck out Dr. Jenn Simmons book, Breast Cancer for the Smart Person. It’s about 30 bucks. It’s an e-book but you could print it out. There is lots of great info on healthy ways to handle this journey but also has blank lined pages for you to write down notes from each appointments. It’s not really a planner but you might find it helpful!

8 months agoI have a RN nurse advocate in my oncologist office. She is the best at getting me information that I need and has been extremely supportive. I started a file folder that I keep everything I have been given in it. The oncology nurses are amazing. Let me know sorta what to expect from week to week in my 12 week schedule. From ice for my hands and feet (neuropathy) prevention to the exact week I would expect to lose my hair. They have seen it all, all types of medication to different types of cancer. But the one thing I do know is that everyone is different and they will react differently . Keep your faith
