2 years agoDiagnosed last week. Anyone with low nuclear grade papillary carcinoma? My understanding is that it is very rare. Would love to hear what others have done for treatment. Having lumpectomy mid July

Finding others who share the same specific diagnosis can be incredibly valuable, especially with a rare type like papillary carcinoma. This community has many members who understand the journey of navigating treatment decisions and preparing for procedures. 7 months agoI don't know a whole lot about it but my understanding is that it is kind of like DCIS and is very treatable, rarely spreads and rarely returns after treatment

7 months agoI was diagnosed with that in one breast, the oncologist called it "almost precancerous" and very good outlook. It will be a lumpectomy. Unfortunately the other breast has stage 2 ductal cancer, so chemo first then removal of the lump and a few lymph nodes. Also interested in the experience of others with the papillary version.
