This journey can feel overwhelming at first, but finding strength in faith while navigating these early days shows incredible courage. Many people in this community have walked similar paths and found that connecting with others who understand can provide comfort and practical guidance during treatment planning and beyond.

Hi Elizabeth. I received my diagnosis 1/24/24. I understand where you are because we are in the same boat. I feel like I'm in limbo, but I am trying to rely on my faith as well. ❤️🙏

Faith in God does help. My dx was back in July 2023. This first few weeks to couple of months are the worst. Personal experience was the hurry up and wait. Waiting I found the hardest. Family and friends are great if you have that support. Church too. I signed up on the Mayo Clinic site. I will be thinking of y'all and will say prayers for you

I will say it’s been a whirlwind I was Diagnosed in late December.. doctors, tests and on February 5 a bilateral mastectomy.. I must say I feel pretty well all things considered .. I was diagnosed with stage 1 2 different cancers 2 different breasts .. I now have a visit with the oncologist this Friday to see where my course of treatment goes next .. ?? So it’s a lot very fast .. The power of prayer sure helps .. good luck with everything

As I’m now 7-1/2 months out from diagnosis, weeks of biopsies and MRIs leading to surgery and then radiation in December -January, I’d say the “hurry up and wait” was tough during the biopsies and then the results after surgery to see what stage I was and ultimately waiting 3 weeks for OncoType results. My faith in God and also all the love and support from my husband carried me through. One day at a time 🙏

I can't even imagine going through this without the support and prayers from family and friends. I often think of those who are enduring without that.
