a year agoI had a lumpectomy just over 2 weeks ago. Thankfully, no pain afterwards. But the fatigue has still not gone away. I went back to work 4 days after surgery but not to a full day for 2 weeks. Have others here experienced a lot of fatigue after surgery? How long did it last?
Accepted Answer
Post-surgery fatigue is very common and can persist for several weeks as your body heals from the procedure and anesthesia. Many community members share similar experiences with energy levels taking time to return to normal after breast surgery. It's encouraging to hear from others who've been through this journey - their insights about recovery timelines can be really valuable for understanding what to expect during the healing process.

6 months agoDiane, I have not started my treatment yet but now I know I’m not alone. I hope the fatigue goes away for you soon. I should be about a month behind you.
