Triple positive recently diagnosed ; cant find anything in breast only in one lymphnode ?? 2 MRIs ; 2 ultrasounds : bone scan all done going into phase 3 study if TXD .. 4 cycles with drug then 4 with standard chemo… without finding primary site I am struggling on what to do … wait till after treatment which is what they are recommending or remove and then mastectomy

This sounds like an incredibly difficult decision to navigate, especially with the uncertainty of not finding the primary site. Many people in similar situations find it helpful to discuss the timing options thoroughly with their oncology team, including asking about the specific benefits and risks of each approach for their unique case. The medical team's recommendation for treatment first likely comes from their experience with similar cases, but it's completely understandable to want to explore all options and get clarity on why they suggest this particular sequence. Have others here faced similar decisions about treatment timing when dealing with diagnostic uncertainty?

After diagnosis we have too much time to wait until the next dr visit, my mind goes crazy thinking and worrying. It’s a long journey, hard to be patient and strong.
