I also see many of you have been sent for MRI, should I be concerned this has not been brought up yet?

Every doctor approaches breast cancer diagnosis and staging differently, and the decision about when to order an MRI depends on many factors specific to each patient's situation. MRI isn't always necessary in the initial diagnostic process, and many patients receive excellent care without needing one right away. It's completely natural to feel uncertain when comparing experiences with others in the community, and bringing up these concerns with your medical team can help you understand their specific approach to your care.

My experience is I got an MRI the next day, after I got my diagnosis. A small spot lit up on the same breast, so they sent me for an ultrasound and biopsy the same day. I received pathology report for the spot that lit up a little over 24 hours after the biopsy.
