What a significant step forward in your journey - having the SAVI Scout placed shows real progress toward treatment. That mix of fear and strength makes complete sense, and many in this community understand exactly what you're feeling right now. Wishing you comfort and peace as September 16th approaches, and hoping other community members will share their experiences and encouragement with you.

Hi Maureen. I had SAVI on 8/9 and lumpectomy on 8/12. I was surprised at how well I felt after surgery. Recovery seemed much easier than I anticipated. Now on to next steps. I don't think the scary ever ends.

I’m having to SAVI THIS next week and surgery Friday. I am scared. But compared to many , my cancer is curable. But just the word is so darn scary .
