3 months agoReceived biopsy results a few hours ago. Can’t speak with doctor till Tuesday am. I’m 48 years old with diagnosis of Invasive lobular carcinoma, grade 2 of 3, ER Results: Positive (95%), PR Results: Positive (95%). I’m still processing the news. We are in WI and moving end of September. Don’t know where to start to find new doctors and start surgery and treatment by end of October. Any recommendations for Asheville NC. I’m really lost.

3 months agoMaria. I am so sorry about the results of your biopsy. Since you are both ER and PR positive you may be a candidate for hormone therapy. Which any oncologist can prescribe now and then transfer you over to your new doctor. Time is of the essence I learned that the hard way. See what your doctor recommends on Tuesday! We are here for you ! Love and prayers!

3 months agoYour surgeon should be setting you up with your oncologist, your Radiology oncologist that something you shouldn’t have to worry about, it looks like you might gonna have some type of surgery but just take it one step at a time I know it’s hard not to worry about it. I just had a double mastectomy in June. I found I had cancer in February. it took months before my surgery was scheduled. Everything will work out. I will keep you in my prayers.
