Has anyone had to wait 3 months before starting chemo and the testing hasn't been completed as far as to see if it metastized? Plus this place requested my intial images from mammogram and ultrasound that said I needed a biopsy because it was 95% malignancy and I gave them 5 years worth of mammogram and ultrasound but then they wanted to do thier own images which said the exact same thing and then they did biopsy. Prolonging more time.

Waiting times for starting treatment can vary significantly based on individual circumstances, staging needs, and healthcare system factors, though many people share concerns about delays feeling overwhelming during an already stressful time. The repeated testing and imaging you're experiencing, while frustrating, often happens when providers want their own baseline measurements and confirm findings with their equipment and protocols. Many others in this community have faced similar waiting periods and understand how anxious this time can feel - sharing your experience here can help connect you with others who've navigated similar delays.

I am sorry to hear that. You have to be your own advocate. It also helps to go to a University Hospital. They have more resources. I travel 2.5 hrs to Philadelphia and stayed with a friend the night before my surgery and the night before my chemo treatments. So far I feel well enough to drive home the next day. I start feeling lousy around the 3rd day after chemo. It is not right that you had to wait so long.
