a year agoWhat kind of doctor deals with neuropathy? Mine is getting really Bad I’m hands and feet
Accepted Answer
For neuropathy symptoms, a neurologist specializes in nerve-related conditions and would be the most appropriate specialist to see. Many cancer patients experience neuropathy as a side effect of treatment, so it's also worth discussing with your oncologist who may be able to coordinate care or provide referrals to help manage these challenging symptoms.

10 months agoA neurologist deals with neuropathy. I already have in my feet. I can't take the meds because they interfere with depression for me anyway.

10 months agoI am so sorry to hear about your neuropathy. I had it so bad that my oncologist recommended to stop chemo in my 8th infusion of 12. It was a hard decision but necessary. My doctor explained to me that my neuropathy could damage my nerves system for life. It took time but I can say that I am neuropathy free now.
