It's wonderful to hear that your recovery is going well and that you're cancer-free following your surgery. Your experience with intestinal tumor surgery offers valuable perspective for others in this community who may be facing similar procedures or navigating their own recovery journeys. Many people find that sharing their recovery strategies and progress helps both themselves and others feel less alone in the process. Have you found any particular aspects of your recovery routine most helpful, or encountered any challenges that others might benefit from knowing about?

Did you have to go through chemo? I have a tumor in my small intestine, and I have to go through chemo for 3 months and then they are going to do surgery. How long was rehab after surgery? I’m scared , and worried

I had the surgery, no chemo, fasting causes what’s called autophagy, which you can look up, your body kills all the cells, and replenishes with new. It kills cancer cells. Your lymphatic system then removes all the dead cells. NO SUGAR. Very few carbs. No alcohol.

I know the surgery is a bit daunting, it took me 3 months before I could start doing things. I walked, I ate slow mostly eggs, cottage cheese, tuna fish, no bread no pasta, a little rice, broccoli and chicken breasts. I introduced other foods as I went, some days are good some days are bad.

Yes. At first u was going to drive a bus, so I had to get a medical driving card, do I had to get signed off by my doctors and do a stress test. Which was actually a good thing to do. I passed, I’m not driving I’m installing electrical devices. So at 4 months I started working again.
