How do you cope when cancer hits after already surviving a liver transplant?

Just found out yesterday and already the triggers of being really sick, 12 years ago, fighting for my life , being hospitalized to have a complete Liver Transplant, still fighting to stay healthy and now this!? WTF 😬

How do I advocate for myself after a rectal cancer diagnosis?

Hello, I was just reading through a few posts and I couldn't believe how many were similar to my situation so I thought I would share. I'm a 35 year old, mother of one, and wife. I've been healthy all my life. I've even completed several half marathons. I was just diagnosed with stage 2A rectal cancer. A couple months ago I started noticing what I thought might be blood in my stool. I got in to see my primary February 3rd. That resulted in a colonoscopy on February 6th. A mass was found and a biopsy was taken. February 10th I got the call telling me it's cancer. I had to push for an oncology referral because they wanted me to go straight to surgery. I also pushed first the surgeon to schedule all the tests and procedures I would need as soon as possible. I've had a CT, that came back clear. It couldn't even detect my tumor. Blood work has all come back good. I just had an endoscopic ultrasound performed this week. That's where I was finally able to find out the stage. I've now been referred to radiation oncology. I'm glad I pushed to get all the tests/procedures started as soon as possible. I just want to start treatment!

What should I expect while waiting for PET and MRI results after colorectal cancer diagnosis?

Just diagnosed on 29th Jan.have a P.E.T. on 9th March and and M.R.I. on 20th March C.R.C. won't tell me a darn thing till those tests are completed. Other than an approximately 3-5 cm tumor at the junction of my rectum/colon.

Just diagnosed with colon cancer - scared and need prayers

Tuesday Doctor said unfortunately it is cancer. Mass on the Ascending colon. A few spots on the liver largest is 8mm. That’s what CT showed and biopsy. Haven’t got an oncologist yet. Either Mayo in Jacksonville Florida or St Joesph’s in Savannah. Scared! Prayers please!

Has anyone one here has stage lV cancer with colorectal cancer and had a better response to treatment, everywhere I read it's says it's treatable but most likely return I was diagnosed in November 2025 after a bad abscess near my anus I am looking into alternative treatments to this stuff as anyone else thinks maybe point me in a right direction

What does a tumor deposit mean for my stage 3 cancer prognosis?

I had a perforation that required emergency surgery. My tumor was large. She got it out with clear margins. The pathology report listed 1 tumor deposit. This means a worse prognosis. My surgeon said it is treatable. I am seeing the oncologist next month for chemo. I’m so worried. I am stage 3.
